Semillon - 1997 Show Reserve Semillon

This benchmark Hunter Valley Semillon has been carefully cellared under ideal conditions, resulting in a straw yellow colour. There are some mature bottle aged characters of toast and light honey, while showing youthful citrus fruit aromas. The palate is full with fresh lemon and lime flavours carried by a long flinty acid finish. With further careful cellaring, this wine will continue to develop those well known bottle aged toasted honey Hunter Semillon characters.
