Dark garnet red in colour with blood red slightly crimson hues.
Wonderfully generous and lifted characters of stewed jammy fruits of blackberry, blueberry and mulberry. A wonderful earthiness of sweet peat and supported by toasted hazelnut and chestnut.
Rich, ripe spicy and soft. A full bodied wine showing generous black and red fruits with hints of white and black pepper, choc/mocha and a savoury umami flavor. The finish is firm, soft and long.
Enjoy with wild mushroom risotto, Aged whole beef rump. Pecorino cheese, wild rabbit and pork pie.
Drinking wonderfully now as a 13 year old.
