Vibrant blood red and black olive in colour with Crimson/ Cerise hues.
Aromas of pepper and spice with wonderful floral notes. Ripe savoury fruits combined with hints of smoke and chicory. Slightly nutty oak subtleties.
The palate is rich, ripe, firm, generous and long. Wonderfully complex palate showing generous ripe red fruits of raspberry and cherry with undertones of blood plum and mulberry. Exotically savoury flavours with black pepper, star anise, cloves with an earthy/peaty backbone. The back palate is long, soft and dry with cleansing acidity.
To get the best out of this wine it should be cellared carefully for up to 10 years.
Decant for 3 hours prior to consumption.
Enjoy with rare roast beef, stir fried Kangaroo, venison stew or aged cheddar cheese.
