Lifted jammy stewed black fruits supported by hints of pepper, sweet nutty oak and a slight dustiness/ earthiness.
The palate is ripe generous, savoury, firm and dry. Upfront fruit flavours of black and red fruits. The mid palate shows black pepper with hints of nutmeg and vanilla. The finish is firm, long, dry and dusty. A traditional Durif.
Enjoy with seared Kangaroo Fillet, Game Pie, Porcini Mushroom Risotto, Aged Cheddar Cheese.
