Bouquet
Rich, ripe, dusty earthy and gamey. Ripe stewed black fruit aromas with wafts of aniseed, black pepper and peat.
Palate
Rich, ripe, generous, elegant soft and complex. The upfront fruit is of dried black and red currants. The mid palate is layered showing dark chocolate, Chinese five spice with hints of cloves and dried mixed herbs. The back palate is soft and long with juicy tannins and nutty subtle oak.

Drink now. (Decant 30 mins before consumption, remembering that this is a 15 year old wine and has thrown some sediment).
