Dark crimson red with a magenta hue.
The bouquet is of black fruits, blood plums, and spicy fruit cake, along with subtle aromas of star anise, clove, cinnamon and five spice.
The palate is rich and ripe with long lingering flavours of black fruits, particularly cassis, dark bitter chocolate with subtle hints of pepper, cedar oak and clove.
This is a private cellar release and is ready to drink now
Enjoy with beef cheeks, osso bucco, or slow braised meats. Alternatively try with hard aged cheeses.
