Dark, rich and bold garnet colour with cerise/ crimson hues.
Generous, ripe and brooding. The nose shows lifted stewed fruit characters of boysenberry, dark
cherry and raspberry. This is supported by spiced aromas of black pepper and vanilla with savoury,
almost meaty nuances.
Full bodied, ripe, rich, generous yet soft. The upfront palate shows ripe fruit characters of black
and red fruits such as blackberry, mulberry, blueberry and cherries. The mid-palate is wonderfully
savoury and complex showing hints of clove, cinnamon and black pepper. The finish is firm, soft,
dry and long with cashew nut oak characters.
