Dark garnet red in colour, still bright and vibrant with opaque blood red hues.
Lifted, perfumed, ripe and generous. Wonderful stewed fruit aromas of blackberry jam, combined with a mocha, coffee – like sarperella character. Hints of pepper and cedar with wafts of cloves and aniseed.
Full bodied and showing rich ripe fruits of raspberry, rhubarb, sour cherry and blueberry. The mid-palate shows wonderful spice of liquorice, clove and a dark, brooding choc-mint character. The back palate is long, soft, dry and complex.
