      Colour: Vibrant ruby red in colour with blood red hues. Nose: Lifted, herbal, floral and herbaceous. The nose displays lifted fruit aromas of freshly crushed blackberry and blueberry. This is supported by aromas of dark chocolate and hints of freshly brewed coffee. There are also nuances of violets and lavender and just a hint of fresh mint. Palate: Rich, ripe elegant, soft and dry. The upfront fruit flavours are of juicy black fruits of the forest. The mid palate is savoury and herbal with hints of carob and smoked meats. The back palate is soft, long and dry with persistent tannins. Cellaring: 3 – 7 years (from 2020). Food Matching: Barbequed butterflied lamb leg with pomegranate and rosemary, Double smoked duck breast with red wine jus and mash, Stilton cheese on rye bread.
