2021 Cabernet Sauvignon, McLaren Vale, South Australia
Full bodied, generous, rich ripe with firm tannins.
Intensely dark, mulberry black in colour with opaque blood red hues.
Lifted, perfumed, herbal and herbaceous. The upfront fruit aromas are of stewed blackberries and ripe blood plum. This is supported by aromas of aniseed and mocha with hints of eucalypt and peppermint.
The palate is full bodied, generous, rich ripe with firm tannins. The upfront fruit flavours are of boysenberry and black cherry. The mid palate shows black jube flavour with hints of liquorice and dark chocolate. The back palate is long with soft, yet persistent tannins.
