Durif, so well-known in North East Victoria for its huge bouquets and flavours. In Mudgee this bouquet is a little more floral. The dark fruit aromas are more plum and blueberry. You may also detect hints of earthiness, leather and dried herbs.

Very good expressions of fruit forward dark fruits. Blackberry, dark plum and blueberries giving this wine a fairly rich, ripe and full bodied flavour. There are definite hints of pepper and clove coming from the grippy tannins.
